atlx-1u
Intellijel Atlx 1U Atlantix Expander

The Intellijel Atlx 1U is an output expander for the Intellijel Atlantix, a dual-oscillator subtractive analogue synth voice. It works only with Atlantix. It suits Atlantix owners who want more patch points for self-patching, more complex routing and connections to the rest of their system, and who would rather spend 1U row space than 3U space. It has the same functions as the 3U Atlx.

16 extra jacks: 14 dedicated outputs plus a ring modulator

Oscillator A and B taps: sine, triangle, saw and square outputs, with PWM on oscillator A and a sub square output on A only

Filter taps: separate lowpass, highpass, bandpass and Phazor outputs

Ring modulator: X and Y inputs with a RING output

Passive design: draws no current from your power supply

1U format: a 20 HP tile in Intellijel 1U format, connected to Atlantix with the included cable

Breaking out the individual waveforms and filter responses lets the semi-modular Atlantix behave more like a fully modular voice. With the separate oscillator outputs you get more flexible FM and cross-modulation, and the filter taps give you the whole Atlantix filter section rather than a single response. The ring modulator can process signals from the Atlantix or from other modules in the case.
