The result is a brighter, more complex waveform. A filter removes harmonics; a wavefolder adds them, so the Chop pairs well with simple sine or triangle sources. Because each channel has a manual shape control, an attenuverted CV input and a direct CV input, you can set a base fold amount and then modulate it from two sources at once.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe Chop output adds a further option. With nothing patched to its gate input, a zero-crossing detector compares channel A and selects A or B automatically, which creates hard switching between the two folded signals. Patch a gate and the switching follows your rhythm instead. Channels A and B also have their own separate outputs.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eBefaco rates the build as medium difficulty. An assembly manual, schematic, BOM and an interactive build guide are available.
