It is for modular users who assemble their own modules. The kit includes all the parts needed for a finished module, plus a power cable and four Befaco Knurlies M3 rack screws.

Five waveform outputs: Triangle, Ramp, Sine, PWM and Even, all available at once

10-position octave selector: switches the oscillator's range in octave steps

1 cent tracking precision: Befaco specifies this across the full octave range

Temperature compensation: a redesigned circuit keeps the pitch stable when temperature or supply voltage changes

Modulation inputs: Hard Sync, two V/Oct inputs, Linear FM and PWM CV

With two V/Oct inputs, you can add a sequencer's pitch to a second source such as a transposition or vibrato CV without a separate mixer. The Linear FM and Hard Sync inputs cover the usual FM and sync patches with a second oscillator. The Even output gives a further waveform alongside the standard shapes.

The front panel is heat-treated aluminium. The module was designed in Barcelona, where Befaco also prepares the kits. Befaco rates this kit as a high-grade build, so it suits builders with some soldering experience. An assembly manual, schematic and parts list are available from Befaco.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/1043/4052/1299/files/7815b51b-c3dc-4066-8272-64ead78117c7.jpg?v=1791364410
