The module handles audio and CV, so it can be used anywhere a VCA would normally sit in a patch.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eTypical roles include a stereo VCA, an audio or CV processor, a channel strip or final bus at the end of a patch, routing for send effects, and wave shaping of oscillators. EQ and voltage-controlled panning in a single module are less common in Eurorack. On line-level signals, the input stage can add gain and the output stage can bring levels down for external equipment.
