The headphone output lets you listen to any digital input or output without touching the routing, which is useful for quick signal checks.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eFor remote operation, the RemoteFish software for Windows and macOS connects over USB-C (MIDI over USB) or the 3.5 mm TRS MIDI ports, and device functions also respond to MIDI CC messages. USB-C also handles firmware updates; it does not carry audio. Word clock in and out on BNC, with switchable 75 Ω termination, integrates the unit into an existing clock setup.
