Bubblesound DiOD: Liquid Textures and Acid Bite

The DiOD is a discrete diode ladder VCF that excels at providing the "squelchy" and harmonic-rich filtering found in vintage acid synthesizers. Unlike standard transistor filters, the DiOD has a nonlinear response that adds movement and grit to your sound as you increase the resonance. It is highly responsive to input levels—keep it low for smooth, buttery sweeps, or drive the input to unlock growling saturation. With its compact footprint and precise tracking, the DiOD is a powerhouse for both melodic sequences and aggressive sound design.
