Foldist brings the iconic sound of West Coast synthesis into a modern 8HP footprint. At its core is a Serge-style wavefolder, but Olivella has added multiple layers of sonic aggression and versatility.The module features a switchable JFET input stage for warm saturation, which remarkably allows for the folding of square waves—a feat typically impossible for standard folders.The unique "SPICE" function routes feedback through a full-wave rectifier for untamed, metallic textures.Best of all, a built-in VC decay envelope is normalled to the Fold input, allowing you to generate organic, percussive "pings" instantly without additional external modules.
