The Fostex RM-3DT is a space-saving 1U rackmount active monitor speaker designed for critical monitoring tasks in tight environments such as machine rooms, surveillance centers, OB vans, and control rooms. With support for Dante digital audio and balanced analog XLR inputs, this versatile unit ensures seamless integration into both legacy and networked audio infrastructures.

Equipped with built-in rectangular stereo speakers and dual 26-dot LED meters, the RM-3DT delivers clear and accurate audio monitoring. You can select one of four output modes for playback through the onboard speakers, and a ¼" headphone output on the front panel enables quiet personal monitoring. The unit’s volume control doubles as a mute switch, configurable for full mute or a -20 dB attenuation.

With sample rate support up to 96 kHz, a low-noise amplifier, and power-saving switching power supply, the RM-3DT delivers professional performance in a compact, energy-efficient form. Its dimensions match the original RM-3, making it an easy drop-in replacement.
