The Doepfer A-188-1D is a high-resolution bucket brigade delay (BBD) module featuring 4096 stages — the most extensive delay configuration in the A-188-1 series. This makes it ideal for producing deep, warm analog delays, sweeping flanger effects, and modulated textures in Eurorack systems.
This version comes preinstalled with the 4096-stage BBD chip, offering extended delay times that can be voltage-controlled. It also provides access to an insertable feedback path, allowing users to experiment with chorus-style feedback loops, distorted repeats, or rhythmic modulation feedback structures.
