Manifold Research Centre Ubique: A Journey Through Phase and Feedback
Ubique is a sophisticated signal processor operating at the intersection of filtering and time-delay. By utilizing a multi-stage network of all-pass filters, Ubique shifts the phase of incoming audio without directly altering its spectral content. When the internal feedback path is engaged, the module generates deep comb-filtering, resonant peaks, and atmospheric "ghost" tones. Ubique is exceptionally well-suited for transforming static oscillators into moving, organic soundscapes or generating percussive strikes through self-oscillation.
