Nekyia Circuits Obsidian: The Source of Complex Modulation
Obsidian is far more than a standard dual LFO; it is a modulation powerhouse designed to add depth and organic movement to any patch. The module features two independent low-frequency oscillators that can interact via internal cross-modulation. This allows for the creation of complex, non-repeating waveforms that breathe life into static sounds. Whether you require subtle vibrato, slowly shifting filter textures, or rhythmic modulation pulses, Obsidian provides a vast sonic palette. Its intuitive interface and high-quality analog circuitry ensure that modulation always feels musical and responsive, regardless of complexity.
Key Features:
-
Dual Independent LFOs: Two distinct channels with dedicated rate and waveform controls.
-
Cross-Modulation Logic: Route one LFO to modulate the other for chaotic and evolving shapes.
-
Multi-Waveform Selection: Access a variety of wave shapes for versatile modulation applications.
-
Extended Frequency Range: Capable of everything from glacial slow sweeps to high-speed FM-style rates.
-
CV Connectivity: Dedicated CV inputs for rate control allow for integration with sequencers and external clocks.
