The Root Locus is a tribute to the science of system stability, translated into the expressive world of Eurorack. This 12HP multimode filter provides Low-Pass, High-Pass, and Band-Pass outputs, each possessing its own sonic signature. What truly sets the Root Locus apart is how its resonance tracks and reacts to modulation; the circuit is engineered so that the filter's "poles" trace audible trajectories that extend beyond the capabilities of a standard VCF. This results in a filter that can whistle, scream, and morph with an almost vocal quality. With extensive CV implementation for cutoff and resonance, the Root Locus is the ideal centerpiece for intricate subtractive patches.
