Neutral Labs Nijel: A Laboratory for Analogue Distortion
Nijel is more than just a distortion module; it is a sandbox for sonic experimentation. The heart of the module features two sets of front-panel sockets where you can physically plug in different electronic components to alter the clipping stage. While it comes with a curated selection of diodes and LEDs, you are encouraged to experiment with your own components to discover unique "signature" textures. Featuring Gain and Level controls alongside a dedicated CV input for distortion depth, Nijel is the ideal utility for adding harmonic weight to drum patterns or pushing oscillators into aggressive, industrial territory.
