The Allen Synthesis EuroPi is a fully reprogrammable Eurorack module built around a Raspberry Pi Pico. You connect it to a computer over USB and write or edit its behaviour in MicroPython, and it turns that code into modular-level signals. It suits Eurorack users who want to build their own modulation, sequencing or utility tools, especially those who are comfortable writing code or building DIY hardware.

The whole project is open source. The software is under Apache 2.0, the hardware under CERN OHL-S v2 and the documentation under CC0 1.0, and the hardware is certified by the Open Source Hardware Association. Firmware, an API documentation site, the build guide and a growing collection of user-contributed scripts are all on the project's GitHub. The module is set up and calibrated before any software is loaded. Users can get help and share ideas in the r/EuroPi Reddit community and on the project's Discord server.
