Apollo View Vamp: A Filter with Soul and Grit
The Vamp is a high-performance Multimode Valve Filter designed to inject life and harmonic complexity into your modular patches. Featuring a real vacuum tube in the signal path, this 12dB/octave filter delivers everything from creamy, vintage-style attenuation to wild, self-oscillating screams. The 'Drive' control allows you to push the tube into rich saturation, adding a third dimension to your sound. With its integrated VCA and versatile CV inputs, the Vamp is perfect for creating acid basslines, vocal-like formants, or harmonically dense percussion.
Key Features:
-
Genuine Vacuum Tube Core: Provides organic even-order harmonics and unique non-linear clipping.
-
Triple Mode Versatility: High-Pass, Band-Pass, and Low-Pass outputs for total spectral control.
-
Aggressive Resonance: Capable of self-oscillation, providing a pure but saturated sine wave for sound design.
-
Parallel Saturation: Balance the clean filter signal with the driven tube stage for precision mixing.
-
Dedicated VCA: Built-in output VCA saves rack space and simplifies your signal chain.
Technical Specifications:
