AtoV Project cDVCA: Harmonic Dynamics at Your Fingertips
The cDVCA is a dual VCA/Waveshaper module that breathes life into static signals. While it functions as a transparent amplifier, its real strength lies in its ability to introduce harmonic saturation as you increase the gain. This makes it an ideal choice for shaping oscillators, drum sounds, or even modulating LFOs. It provides a unique "VCF-lite" feel, where the timbre shifts subtly as the amplitude changes, mirroring the behavior of more complex analog components.
Key Features:
-
Dual VCA/Waveshaper: High-quality signal path capable of both clean amplification and character-driven shaping.
-
Musical Saturation: Pushing the input gain adds rich harmonic content, perfect for warming up digital sources.
-
Filter-like Behavior: Offers a nuanced, filter-like attenuation that sounds smooth and natural.
-
Black Anodized Panel: Sleek, minimalist design that looks professional in any rack.
-
CV Control: Responsive inputs for controlling gain/shape via your favorite modulators.
