Overview

Bastl Instruments Kastle 2 Alchemist: Pocket-Sized Sonic Sorcery

The Bastl Instruments Kastle 2 Alchemist is a quirky, patchable mini-modular synthesizer that pushes the boundaries of lo-fi synthesis. At the core of the Alchemist lies the new 'Runic' oscillator, ranging from crystalline sine waves to chaotic, distorted noise-scapes. Its open architecture invites you to experiment with patch cables on a miniature scale. Whether you are searching for atmospheric drones, glitchy beats, or strange SFX, the Alchemist delivers an organic, unpredictable sound that fits perfectly into any experimental creative workflow.

Key Features:

  • Runic Oscillator: A versatile sound source featuring multiple modes for unique timbral discovery.

  • Patchable Architecture: Use the included jumper cables to create complex modulations and feedback loops.

  • Stereo Filter & Delay: Built-in effects to add depth, character, and spatial movement to your patches.

  • Battery or USB Powered: Runs on 3x AA batteries or via USB, making it the perfect companion for mobile sound design.

  • Connectivity: Easily interface with other gear or monitor via the dual 3.5mm jack inputs/outputs.

Technical Specifications:

  • Type: Semi-modular digital mini-synth

  • Modulation: Patch points for pitch, timbre, and waveform control

  • Power: Micro-USB or 3x AA batteries

  • Design: Signature Bastl open-frame PCB aesthetic

  • Included: Set of 10 jumper patch cables
