| The Befaco 1U STMix is a four-channel stereo mixer for the 1U row of a Eurorack case, built in Intellijel 1U format. It can be used on its own to combine stereo or mono sources into one stereo output, or as an expander that adds four stereo channels to Befaco's Hexmix.
Because each channel is level-controlled by hand, the STMix suits fixed submixes: collecting stereo effects returns, summing a few voices before the main mixer, or freeing up 3U space by moving basic mixing duties into a 1U tile. At 28 HP and 20 mm deep including the power connector, it fits shallow 1U rows. When paired with Hexmix, the STMix connects through a six-pin ribbon cable on the back, and its mixed output joins the Hexmix master section. Note that this rear connector is meant for Hexmix and is not compatible with the audio connectors found in Intellijel cases. The module was designed in Barcelona by Pascual Rocher.
