Befaco Even VCO

The Befaco Even VCO is an analogue voltage-controlled oscillator for Eurorack, built around stable, precise tuning across a 10-octave range. It suits patchers who want a dependable main oscillator that holds its pitch and offers a broad set of waveforms in a compact 8 HP module. This listing is the assembled module, not the DIY kit.

• Accurate tracking: pitch tracks to within 1 cent across the full 10-octave range
• Temperature compensation: a redesigned compensation circuit keeps the oscillator stable through changes in temperature and supply voltage

The Even output gives the module its name and sits alongside the classic sine, triangle, ramp and pulse shapes, so one oscillator can cover everything from smooth sub tones to brighter, harmonically richer material. With two V/Oct inputs you can combine a sequencer pitch with a transposition or offset source, while linear FM, PWM CV and hard sync open up through-zero-style timbral movement, pulse-width animation and classic sync sweeps when paired with a second oscillator.

The current hardware revision is v3.3, which introduced the redesigned temperature compensation.
