Overview

The Befaco InAmp DIY Kit is a full kit for building Befaco's InAmp, a dual preamp in 4 HP. It is for Eurorack users who want to bring external sources into the modular system, such as consumer line-level drum machines and synths, and some guitars. Befaco rates the build as beginner level.

Two preamp channels in a 4 HP module
Dual input formats: 6.3 mm (1/4") jacks and 3.5 mm minijacks
Summed inputs that let you use both at once as a small input mixer
Up to x20 gain, enough for line-level devices and some guitars with humbucker-type pickups
Complete kit with every part needed for a finished module, plus a power cable and Befaco Knurlies M3 rack screws

The module has a heat-treated aluminium front panel and a depth of 30 mm including the power connector, so it fits shallow cases. Befaco designs its modules in Barcelona and prepares the kits there.
