Overview
Befaco's DIN 5 MIDI to TRS cable pack contains three 150 cm adapter cables for linking gear with 3.5 mm TRS MIDI jacks to devices with standard 5-pin DIN MIDI ports. They suit compact synths, controllers and Eurorack MIDI modules that follow the Type A TRS MIDI standard.
- Three cables per pack, enough for a small rig with several TRS MIDI devices
- 3.5 mm TRS plug to male 5-pin DIN plug, so no separate breakout adapter is needed
- Type A wiring for devices that use this TRS MIDI pinout
- 150 cm length for runs between a desk, a case and a keyboard
Befaco lists brands such as Akai, Korg, Make Noise, ADDAC, Critter & Guitari, Dreadbox, Intellijel and Teenage Engineering among those using Type A, and notes the list is not complete. Check which TRS standard your device uses before connecting. A separate Type B version is also available for gear wired to that standard.
