Overview
This Befaco pack contains three 150 cm MIDI cables, each with a 3.5 mm TRS plug on one end and a male 5-pin DIN plug on the other. They connect gear that has a 3.5 mm TRS MIDI jack to equipment with a standard 5-pin DIN MIDI socket. The TRS end is wired to the Type B standard.
- Type B TRS wiring: for devices that use the Type B TRS MIDI standard. Befaco lists Arturia as a compatible manufacturer.
- 3.5 mm TRS to male DIN 5: a direct cable with no separate adapter box.
- 150 cm length: long enough to reach between a desk, a rack and a case.
- Pack of three: enough cables for several devices in one setup.
TRS MIDI is not wired the same way on every device. Before you buy, check whether your gear uses Type A or Type B. Befaco also sells a separate Type A version of this cable.
