Befaco MuDi

The Befaco MuDi is a 2 HP Eurorack module that combines a clock multiple, a clock conditioner and a clock divider. It is for patchers who need to send one clock to several destinations in a system and want related divisions without giving up much rack space.

• Seven outputs: three conditioned copies of the incoming clock at the original rate, plus four divided outputs at 1/2, 1/4, 1/8 and 1/16.
• Active design: you can repatch clock destinations while the system runs, which avoids the tempo interruptions a passive multiple can cause.
• Clock and reset on one jack: the TRS input carries clock on the tip and reset on the ring. A standard mono cable passes clock only, and a splitter is provided for using reset.
• Consistent levels: accepts input pulses above 2V and scales all clock outputs to 10V.
• Audio-rate input: square waves at audio rate are accepted, so the divided outputs can serve as sub-octave generators.

At 30 mm deep including the power connector, MuDi fits shallow and skiff-style cases. It draws power only from the +12V rail. Befaco designs the module in Barcelona, where it is also assembled.
