| The Befaco Noise Plethora DIY Kit is the self-build version of Befaco's 14 HP Eurorack noise module. It is aimed at modular users who want noise, textures and experimental or percussive sounds, and who are comfortable building a full kit themselves.
The layout puts digital sound generation in front of analog filters, so the raw output of an algorithm can be shaped and tamed by hand. The two algorithmic channels handle the more complex material, from tonal oscillator clusters to erratic spikes. The third channel covers the basics, with dedicated white and granular noise outputs for crackle, hiss and percussion sources.
