| The Befaco Oneiroi Pod DIY Kit pairs the Oneiroi experimental synth voice, supplied as a full DIY kit, with a custom 42HP powered Eurorack case developed with 4ms. It is aimed at builders who want a compact, portable instrument for ambient pads, drones and evolving soundscapes. It works on its own or alongside desktop synths, effects pedals and a larger modular system.
Oneiroi is a 30HP, full stereo digital voice built on the OWL mk3 platform, running at 24-bit/48 kHz with 32-bit internal processing. A stereo input with three switchable gain levels and a two-colour level LED lets you feed external sources through the effects, or record them into the looper, which can capture either the input or the module's own output. Eight short-throw faders set oscillator volumes and effect amounts, each with a relative CV input. Eight CV controls cover the main parameters, and four of them can be reassigned to secondary ones. A single V/oct input tracks all three oscillators, with a unison control, and a sync input accepts clocks from 30 to 300 BPM. Built-in self-modulation with configurable routing, level and speed keeps patches moving without external modulators. The Pod takes modules up to 40 mm deep and runs from a 15–20 VDC supply through two barrel jacks, so it can be daisy-chained with other 4ms Pods.
