The Befaco Pedal S-R is a 1U Intellijel-format tile that acts as a stereo send/return between a Eurorack system and external effects. It converts modular signal levels to suit guitar pedals, stompboxes and other stereo or mono effects units, then brings the processed signal back into the patch. It is built for modular users who want outboard effects as part of their system.
-
Send stage: reduces typical Eurorack levels (10Vpp) to line or instrument level, with a Line/Instrument switch to match the effect
-
Return stage: Return Level control with LEDs showing the return level
-
Line/Hi-Z return switch: for pedals that are voiced to sit in front of a guitar amp
-
Flexible routing: mono, stereo or dual-mono, with two mono pedals sharing one volume control
-
Case integration: works with the rear jack connectors of the Befaco 7U Case and the Intellijel 7U and Palette cases
Adding a pedal to a modular patch usually means juggling attenuators, level differences and impedance mismatches. The Pedal S-R handles that in one tile, so a delay, fuzz or stereo reverb can be treated like any other module in the signal path. In cases with rear jack panels, the effects can stay connected at the back of the case while the patch at the front stays tidy.
Befaco introduced the Pedal S-R at Superbooth 2025 alongside Pedal Pow, a pedal power supply, and the Phono Amp. It is designed in Barcelona, and the front panel is heat-treated aluminium. This listing is the assembled module. Befaco also sells it as a DIY kit.
