Befaco Spring Reverb – DIY Kit

The Befaco Spring Reverb DIY Kit is the self-build version of Befaco's analog spring reverb for Eurorack. It puts a real spring tank in your system and is aimed at builders comfortable with a medium-difficulty project. This is the full kit, with all parts needed for a finished module, including the reverb tank, the power cable and four Befaco Knurlies M3 rack screws.

• Two inputs with VCAs: In 1 feeds the dry path and In 2 goes straight into the tank, and each input's level is under CV control.
• CV-controlled dry/wet: the balance between the dry and reverberated signal can be modulated.
• Separate Mix and Wet outputs: take the blended signal, or the reverb alone for parallel processing.
• High-pass filter before the tank: shapes the tone of the reverb before the signal reaches the springs.
• VU meter: shows the level of the Wet output.

Because both inputs have their own VCA, you can send one source to the springs only and keep another dry, or open the tank input with an envelope for gated or rhythmic reverb effects. The front panel is heat-treated aluminium, and the module is designed and kitted in Barcelona.
