| The Ferrofish VERTOpro 32 is a half-rack 1U converter and router that brings up to 32 channels of ADAT into and out of a Dante network. It suits studios, live rigs, broadcast and installed setups that need to add ADAT preamps, converters or interfaces to a Dante system. It also handles routing, metering and headphone monitoring from the front panel. It replaces the original VERTO 32.
Monitoring is independent of the routing. You can listen to any digital input or output in mono or as a stereo pair without touching the signal paths, which helps when checking a busy stage or studio network. Eight device presets store complete setups, and a device lock prevents accidental or unauthorised changes. With the MADI licence and modules installed, the two SFP ports can run as independent streams or as a redundant link. They route MADI to MADI, Dante or ADAT in 64- or 56-channel mode. Multimode optical, singlemode optical and coax SFP modules cover runs of up to 2 km, 10 km and 100 m respectively. For remote operation, the RemoteFish software for Windows and macOS connects over USB-MIDI or DIN-style MIDI on 3.5 mm TRS. Device functions also respond to MIDI CC messages. The USB-C port handles control and firmware updates only and does not carry audio. BNC word clock in and out, with switchable 75 ohm termination, integrates the unit into an existing clock setup. | Regular price
