JAM Pedals Fuzz Phrase Black LTD: The Pinnacle of Germanium Fuzz
Product Description
The JAM Pedals Fuzz Phrase Black LTD is a rare, limited-run iteration of their legendary Fuzz Phrase, a pedal already renowned for capturing the elusive, musical "magic" of the original 1960s Dallas Arbiter Fuzz Face circuits. The "Black" edition is crafted with an even more rigorous selection process for its NOS (New Old Stock) Germanium transistors, ensuring a dark, sophisticated, and hauntingly authentic vintage voice. If you are chasing the holy grail of fuzz—that specific, "glassy" clean-up and thick, violin-like sustain—this is the definitive instrument for your pedalboard.
Key Features
- Hand-Selected NOS Germanium Transistors: Each unit features a pair of ultra-rare, matched germanium transistors that are tested for precise leakage and gain, ensuring unparalleled consistency and a "warm" vintage soul.
- Legendary Clean-Up: Famed for its ability to clean up to a pristine, chimey, and percussive "glassy" tone when you roll back your guitar's volume knob—a feature that defines the iconic 60s blues-rock sound.
- Thick, Saturated Sustain: When cranked, it transforms into a rich, full-bodied fuzz that provides endless sustain and a "vocal" quality that is highly responsive to your pick attack.
- Limited Black Edition Aesthetics: Housed in a stunning, limited-edition black enclosure that signifies its premium status. This is a collector-grade piece of gear that stands out on any professional board.
- True Bypass: Retains the integrity of your signal chain while ensuring the Germanium circuit is completely disconnected when the pedal is off.
