Make Noise Plexiphon

The Plexiphon is a stereo, modeless spatial processor developed by Soundhack’s Tom Erbe for Make Noise. It moves fluidly between reverb, delay, and complex multi-tap textures, while also exploring unique territories in between, bringing out depth and character often hidden in the source material.

Key Features

• Modeless Spatial Engine
Seamlessly morph between reverb, delay, and hybrid textures—no modes, no limitations.
• Plexus Control
Dynamically shapes the internal feedback network, from simple echoes to dense, interwoven spatial structures.
• Size Parameter
Controls the temporal scale, from short delays to expansive, room-like environments.
• Diffuse & Color
  Sculpt the texture over time:
  • Diffuse: smooth or sharpen reflections
  • Color: darken or brighten the signal
• Advanced Stereo Processing
  • Couple: from dual mono to fully interwoven stereo
  • Skew: offsets left/right behavior for evolving spatial movement
• Send Gate Input
Enables rhythmic or controlled injection of signal into the processing network—ideal for dub-style techniques.
• CV Integration
Built-in envelope follower provides CV output for dynamic modulation within your system.

Sound & Workflow

Plexiphon is not just an effect - it’s a creative instrument for shaping space and time.
From subtle ambience to complex, evolving textures, it excels in both sound design and performance-oriented patching.
