Molten Modular 1U Motion MTR Attenuverter and Meter Tile

The 1U Motion MTR is a four-channel CV and audio utility in 1U Eurorack tile format. Each channel combines a level control with a real-time meter. It was conceived by Robin Vincent of Molten Modular and is built by Befaco in Barcelona. It is the horizontal 1U version of the 3U Motion MTR, with a fourth channel added, and suits patches that need attenuation, offsets, mixing and visual level checks in a 1U row.

• Four channels, each switchable between audio level control with VU meter, CV attenuator with voltage meter, or CV inverter with voltage meter
• 10V normalling on every input, so an unpatched channel acts as a manual offset or fixed CV source
• Built-in mixing, with the outputs of channels 1 to 3 summed into Out 4
• Metering that shows both CV and inverted CV, plus a dedicated audio VU mode
• Shallow build at 30 mm deep including the power connector, behind a heat-treated aluminium panel

In practice the module covers several patching roles. It can work as an attenuverter with offset, a small mixer, a set of VU meters or any combination of these across its channels. With nothing patched, each output gives a constant voltage, so it also works as a hands-on CV knob for destinations that have no panel control of their own. The module follows the Intellijel 1U tile format.
