| The Molten Bypass is a 4 HP stereo bypass module for Eurorack. It was developed by Robin Vincent of Molten Modular together with Befaco. It gives a modular system the kind of on/off effect switching that guitar pedalboards take for granted. A gate or a press of the button decides whether your signal goes through an external effect or around it, and it works with stereo or mono effects.
This is not a wet/dry blend loop. There is no mix control, and the module only switches the effect into the signal path or out of it. Patch your source into the stereo input, then connect the TO FX and FROM FX points to the effect you want to insert. In soft mode the return stays open and only the send is switched, so delays and reverbs decay naturally. Hard mode suits tight, rhythmic cuts. Gating the bypass from a sequencer or clock turns it into a tool for stutters, drum fills and controlled feedback patches, not just a switch. | Regular price
