Noise Engineering Desmodus Versio Stereo Reverb

Desmodus Versio is the flagship reverb from Noise Engineering, built as a tail generator for sound design and performance rather than for simulating real rooms. It suits modular players who want reverb as an expressive, playable part of a patch instead of a neutral ambience.

• Stereo operation: runs true stereo in to stereo out, or takes a mono source and spreads it to a stereo output
• Wide character range: the controls cover everything from delay-like results through lush reverb to dark, unsettling atmospheres
• Synthetic tails: designed for creative, unreal spaces rather than natural room emulation
• Versio platform: Noise Engineering now presents Desmodus as one of the firmwares available for its Versio platform

Because the focus is on generating reverb tails, Desmodus Versio works well both for washing out drones and pads and for pushing percussive or melodic material into darker, more abstract territory.
