Qu-Bit Tone is an 18 HP Eurorack module with four analog OTA filters on one panel. It suits patch builders who want several voices filtered in parallel, such as polyphonic or chord-based patches, as well as anyone exploring resonant, modal-style sounds in a modular system.
-
Four independent filters: four voltage-controlled filters in a single 18 HP module
-
4-pole response: each filter has a 24 dB/oct slope built on a cascaded OTA design
-
Simultaneous outputs: low-pass and band-pass are available at the same time on each channel
-
Self-oscillation: at high resonance the filters self-oscillate and can be used as sine-like sound sources
-
Polyphonic patching: a natural partner for multi-voice oscillators such as Qu-Bit's Chord
The 4-pole slope is often described as warm and smooth, which makes Tone a good fit for rounding off bright oscillators and chords. With four resonant band-pass filters available at once, it can also serve as a small analog resonator bank: feed it short impulses, triggers or other audio and tune the filters to build modal, percussive or bell-like tones.
