The sE Electronics V7 MC1 is the capsule version of the V7 supercardioid dynamic vocal mic, built to fit Shure handheld wireless transmitters. It is not a standalone microphone; it needs a compatible transmitter body. This listing is the White finish, aimed at singers, FOH and monitor engineers, and venues or churches that already run Shure wireless systems.
-
DMC7 dynamic capsule with an aluminium voice coil and neodymium magnet, the same capsule as the wired V7
-
Supercardioid pattern that rejects nearby instruments and allows high gain before feedback
-
Built-in shockmount (patented) that isolates the capsule from vibration and keeps handling noise low
-
Zinc alloy body with a bevelled grille edge that stops the mic from rolling when set down
-
Spring steel mesh grille, dent-resistant and corrosion-free, with gold-plated contacts
-
Internal windscreen in sE Red to reduce wind noise and plosives, plus a spare black windscreen in the box
The V7 MC1 is voiced for vocals and speech, with a 40 Hz to 19 kHz frequency range and a crisp, open character. Swapping it onto an existing transmitter lets you bring the wired V7's sound to a wireless rig without changing the receiver side.
It fits Shure handheld transmitters except the BLX and GLX-D series, and also works with Audio-Technica 3000 series wireless systems. The V7 MC1 is available in several finishes.
