The UDG Ultimate Flight Case is a plywood road case for a single turntable. It is built for DJs who move a deck between gigs or want it protected in storage. UDG lists the Reloop RP-2000 MK4 and Pioneer DJ PLX-CRSS12 as its main fits, along with a range of other popular direct-drive decks.
-
9 mm plywood shell: black laminate with UDG's honeycomb-pattern Stage Grip finish
-
Fully padded interior: high-density, diamond-embossed EVA foam lines the inside
-
80 mm rear compartment: space behind the deck for cables and a power supply
-
Removable side panels: access panels on the left and right, plus a cable hole with a removable UDG emblem cover
-
Road hardware: recessed butterfly twist latch, spring-loaded heavy-duty handles and stackable ball corners
Besides the PLX-CRSS12 and RP-2000 MK4, UDG says the case fits the Pioneer DJ PLX-1000, Reloop RP-7000 MK2 and RP-8000 MK2, Technics SL-1200MK7 and SL-1210MK7, and the Audio-Technica AT-LP120XUSB and AT-LP140XP. It also fits the discontinued Technics SL-1200MK2 and MK3.
The frame uses extra-wide black aluminium profiles, dual anchor rivets with washers, and powder-coated and anodized hardware. An aluminium UDG logo plate finishes the exterior. The case weighs 9 kg, and the turntable shown in product photos is not included.
