The sE Electronics V8 MC2 Black is a dynamic vocal capsule that screws onto Sennheiser handheld wireless transmitters. It turns a Sennheiser wireless mic into the V8, sE's vocal microphone that builds on the earlier V7. It is aimed at live vocals and also suits speech, broadcasting and podcasting.
-
DMCV8 dynamic capsule: a newly developed element with a neodymium magnet and an aluminium voice coil
-
Supercardioid pattern: strong rejection from the sides and rear to reduce bleed and feedback on loud stages
-
Built-in shock mount: sE's patented internal suspension cuts handling noise and vibration
-
Rugged build: all-metal housing and a spring-steel mesh grille that resist dents and corrosion, finished in matte black
-
Anti-roll design: a bevelled edge keeps the mic from rolling when it is laid down
An internal windscreen sits behind the grille, and the capsule uses a gold-plated contact. The quoted frequency range is 25 Hz to 21 kHz. The capsule works with Sennheiser handheld transmitters but is not compatible with the Sennheiser Spectera system.
The box contains the capsule, a leatherette pouch, a thread protection cover, a black internal windscreen and a microfibre polishing cloth.
