16 stage Voltage Multistage
Further development of the Voltage Multistage , one of the first Verbos modules.
The original Voltage Multistage features an analog sequencer core. This allows it to be used as a sequencer with switchable slides on each step and as a generator for multi-stage envelopes of any length with sustain on each stage. It also allows the creation of any LFO shape, acts as a voltage quantizer, and offers many other creative possibilities.

The Multistage 16, on the other hand, is based on discrete transistor stages, allowing gate inputs on each stage. This makes it possible to jump to any stage using external gates and start multiple loops and sequences that are then later looped. The new sequencer core also detects when it has switched to a new stage. So, if Strobe is latched and a varying analog signal changes the step, a gate output (as well as Ref. Ramp and Slide on CV line a) is output each time a new stage is selected, instead of the gate remaining constantly activated as before.
The CV row switch positions are active when strobe is disabled. This allows random voltages to generate CV signals that are completely independent of the grid.
All outputs are now equipped with LEDs. The functionality of the original Voltage Multistage remains fully intact. Patching the Stage Gate outputs to Enable, Sustain, and Strobe creates complex interaction possibilities. At the same time, the Stage Select inputs provide exceptional flexibility in an analog sequencer.
The Voltage Multistage 16 is 42 hp wide and very flat, so it fits inside a Verbos Black Box . This allows it to be used as a powerful standalone performance sequencer.
