The Warm Audio Dirty Boy jr. Booster is an all-analog boost pedal for guitar, developed with boutique pedal builder Dirty Boy and based on their Ball Buster circuit. It is voiced toward vintage British amps and covers everything from a clean lift to driving an amp into overdrive, natural compression and fuzz-like textures, on stage, in the studio or in the rehearsal room.
-
Ball Buster style circuit: analog boost derived from the Dirty Boy design, with up to 10 dB of boost
-
High headroom: follows your playing dynamics and keeps pick attack intact
-
Three-position Freq switch: H, M and L settings shape the bass response, from tight rhythm parts to fuller lead tones
-
Treble and Bass controls: treble ranges from neutral presence to a vintage British-style treble cut, while bass adds low end without turning muddy
-
True bypass switching in a metal enclosure with Dirty Boy styling
With Gain, Treble and Bass knobs plus the Freq switch, the pedal works as a tone-shaping front end for many guitar and amp combinations. It runs from a standard 9 V DC centre-negative supply and uses 1/4" jacks for input and output, so it fits easily on an existing pedalboard.
