The Warm Audio WA12-500 is a completely discrete, high-voltage 500-series microphone preamplifier engineered to inject massive punch, clarity, and vintage analog character into any tracking signal. Modeled after the coveted discrete console preamps of yesteryear, the WA12-500 utilizes custom CineMag input and output transformers and a proprietary discrete operational amplifier (the X731 style) to deliver an astounding 71dB of transparent, musical gain. Whether you are tracking delicate acoustic instruments or heavy, high-SPL drum kits, the WA12-500 brings rich low-mid body and shimmering, uncolored highs to your tracks with zero compromise.
