Zlob Modular SVF: High-Density State Variable Filtering
The Zlob Modular SVF is a precision 4HP analog filter designed to be the versatile backbone of your modular setup. Built around a classic state variable topology, it provides independent outputs for Low Pass, Band Pass, and High Pass slopes simultaneously. The SVF is celebrated for its musicality and its ability to handle extreme resonance without losing its low-end weight. Beyond traditional filtering, it is a master of "pinging"—by striking the input with a trigger or short gate, the filter rings out with an organic, percussive decay. Combined with accurate 1V/Oct tracking during self-oscillation, the SVF is as much a sound generator as it is a sound shaper.
