Overview
The UDG Ultimate Audio Cable is a 2 m high-speed USB 2.0 cable with a USB-A plug on one end and a USB-B plug on the other, both straight. UDG designed it for DJs and producers who connect audio interfaces, USB microphones, controllers, keyboards and other peripherals to a computer, at home or in a professional setup.
- USB 2.0 A-male to B-male with straight connectors, and backward compatible with devices that use older USB versions
- Gold-plated connectors that resist corrosion
- Two ferrite chokes, which UDG says reduce noise in both directions
- Multi-shielded, flexible PVC cable with UDG-branded connector housings
- UDG Velcro strap included for tidy storage
UDG also recommends it for speed-critical devices such as audio interfaces and external hard drives. The 2 m version comes in seven colours, which makes it easier to tell cables apart in a crowded booth or studio. The 1 m and 3 m lengths are sold as separate products.
